Festival of blocks in Bielsko-Biała! BKS volleyball players collected a full set of points

BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała defeated Energa MKS Kalisz 3:1 in the 19th round of the Tauron League. The Bielsko volleyball players achieved their fifteenth victory this season, although defeating the last team in the table was not easy for them. It was a real block festival - the hosts scored as many as 21 points, while their opponents won nine points in this element.
The match started surprisingly, as the visitors gained a clear advantage with Diana Dąbrowska's serves (1:7). The favourites had to chase the result, they caught up with their rivals (10:11, 14:15), and later made up for the losses after Marta Orzyłowska's ace (18:18). In the end, however, the Kalisz team was better, taking advantage of the hosts' mistakes (23:25).

The third set was played with the advantage of the hosts, who in the middle part of the set jumped ahead of their rivals (12:7, 16:12). The Kalisz team tried to catch up (16:15, 19:18), but in the end they again made mistakes and the set fell to the team from Bielsko-Biała. In the last action Julia Nowicka surprised her rivals with a serve (25:19).
The hosts gained a clear advantage in the fourth set. They jumped ahead of their rivals after a series of point blocks (13:7), and in the rest of the set they controlled the situation. Julia Nowicka added another ace (18:10), and in the end the BKS volleyball players were calmly heading for a full set of points. This achievement became a fact after a block-out attack by Marta Orzyłowska (25:18).
