Inter Milan advanced to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia after a 2-0 victory over Lazio. Milan needed only a moment of individual brilliance to take the lead, when in the 39th minute Marko Arnautovic took advantage of a corner kick deflected by Lazio defenders and volleyed it into the top corner.

After the break, the Romans took the initiative, increasingly keeping possession of the ball and calmly constructing actions. Marco Baroni's team pressed the Inter defense, firing off several dangerous shots, but Martinez did not let himself be defeated, effectively defending access to his goal.

The breakthrough came in the 75th minute when Samuel Gigot irresponsibly fouled Joaquin Correa in the penalty area. The Argentine, a former Lazio player, won a penalty, which Hakan Calhanoglu converted with a confident shot into the middle of the goal.

"Nerazzuri" have sealed their advancement to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, where they will face a derby battle with AC Milan.
