We know the first semi-finalist of the Polish Cup

First division Ruch Chorzów defeated Korona Kielce 2:0 (1:0) and became the first semi-finalist of the Polish Football Cup. Both goals were scored by Jehor Cykało.

Ruch goalkeeper Jakub Bielecki saved two penalties. In the 10th minute, Mariusz Fornalczyk was fouled in the "Blues'" penalty area and the referee pointed to "11". Pedro Nuno's penalty kick was saved by Bielecki, who in the 72nd minute deflected the ball after a shot by Martin Remacle. In this case, the penalty kick was awarded after Mo Mezghrani played the ball with his hand.

Ruch took the lead in the 14th minute, taking a free kick near the corner of the pitch, close to the Kielce team's goal. After Filip Starzyński's cross, Cykało made a good header.

Before the break, Korona - who took the initiative - had their best chance to equalize in the 43rd minute. After a shot by Miłosz Strzeboński, the ball bounced off the crossbar.

Six minutes into the second half, the team from Upper Silesia increased their lead. After a pass from the right by Martin Konczkowski, the ball went to Cykała in the penalty area, who defeated Xavier Dziekoński for the second time in this match.

In the 65th minute, Kielce had a chance to reduce the deficit. However, Mariusz Fornalczyk, with only the goalkeeper in front of him, behaved badly in the penalty area. He decided to shoot too late, and his shot was too weak and inaccurate.

Despite both teams having opportunities to score, the result remained unchanged.
