ZENITH has unveiled a new version of its flagship DEFY Skyline model – this time crafted entirely in rose gold and featuring a precision tourbillon. The deep brick-red dial evokes the brand's historic Le Locle manufactory, blending modern design with Swiss watchmaking tradition.

On October 22, 2025, in Le Locle , ZENITH unveiled a new version of its flagship DEFY Skyline . For the first time, the iconic timepiece from this line is crafted entirely in rose gold and equipped with a tourbillon—one of the most prestigious complications in the world of haute horlogerie. The watch's brick-red dial evokes the facade of the historic ZENITH factory, and its design harmoniously blends avant-garde aesthetics with the brand's over 150 years of heritage.

Since its founding in Le Locle in 1865, ZENITH has consistently stood at the forefront of watchmaking. The brand's history is a tangle of bold visions, from the legendary El Primer movement to the daring reinterpretations of classics in the DEFY collections. The Skyline line, launched in 2022, instantly became the brand's contemporary symbol.

The new DEFY Skyline Tourbillon is a watch that prioritizes high-quality craftsmanship and clear design. Its 41mm case features distinctive, sharp lines and an integrated bracelet .

As I have already mentioned, the brick-red dial is a direct reference to the facade of the ZENITH factory in Le Locle - a recognizable element in the history of the brand.

At six o'clock, a tourbillon is a real eye-catcher and enhances precision . The rose gold hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova , ensuring excellent legibility even in the dark.

The watch is powered by the El Primero 3630 automatic movement , operating at a frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 VpH) and offering a 50-hour power reserve .

The mechanism is also visually stunning : a three-dimensional, laser-engraved "cotes de Geneve" motif in a radial arrangement highlights the architectural character of the design, drawing the eye to the "beating heart of the watch."
