Companies from Dębica will build a road to the railway terminal in Żurawica

On July 1st of this year, the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Board approved the full construction of this section. A total of over 7 km of new roads will be constructed. The entire project was entrusted to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Roads Authority in Rzeszów. This investment received nearly PLN 100 million in funding from the Polish Government Fund: Strategic Investment Program. Its completion is scheduled for the end of 2028. According to the design and plan, it will begin in Duńkowiczki (Orły commune) with a turbo roundabout, then proceed towards the Żurawica terminal, and conclude with a connection via another roundabout to the Przemyśl bypass junction in Bolestraszyce, on the eastern side of the E30 railway line. The investment also includes the construction of a section of a county road connecting Kolejowa Street with the planned provincial road No. 881 in the area of the Kraków Główny – Medyka railway line No. 91, on its western side. The aim – as announced by the investors – is to improve communication with the railway terminal in Żurawica and to develop a dry port in this town...
