Balloons from Belarus over Lithuania. Airports and border crossings closed.

Lithuanian airspace was violated by "dozens of balloons," the National Crisis Management Centre reported. Air traffic at Vilnius and Kaunas airports was suspended until 10 p.m. Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė decided that both Lithuanian border crossings with Belarus would be closed until Sunday noon.
The National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) reported that "dozens of balloons" were spotted on radar. The Lithuanian Ministry of Transport and Communications reported on its website that air traffic at both airports was suspended until 10 p.m. local time.
The closure of the airports will affect four flights in Vilnius - arrivals from Copenhagen, Helsinki, London and departure to Warsaw, and three flights in Kaunas - arrivals from Dublin and London and departure to London.
Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė decided that both border crossings between Lithuania and Belarus will be closed until Sunday noon .

In recent weeks, European aviation has repeatedly been plunged into chaos due to drones and other airspace violations, including at airports in Copenhagen, Munich and the Baltic Sea region.
Lithuania. Balloons from Belarus violated airspace.The previous such incident in Lithuania took place on Tuesday evening, when the appearance of several dozen smuggling balloons led to the closure of the airspace over Vilnius airport and the redirection of 12 flights.
The next day, Lithuanian authorities declared it was the largest incident to date involving balloons violating Lithuanian airspace.
Even earlier, on October 5, smugglers' balloons carrying smuggled cigarettes from Belarus flew into the airspace of the Lithuanian capital.
