An investment that will shorten the time of rail travel

Railway lines no. 91 Rzeszów – Przemyśl and no. 92 Przemyśl – Medyka are part of the E30 Kraków – Medyka route. The Kraków – Rzeszów section has been modernized. Thanks to this investment – of course with the support of EU funds – the maximum speed of trains has been increased to 160 km/h, and the travel time by train between the capitals of Małopolska and Podkarpacie has been shortened by over an hour. Passengers have also gained better accessibility and travel comfort.
[middle1]The investment, which includes the development of a project on the Podkarpackie section of the E30 route, is an important stage in the implementation of another undertaking that will provide new opportunities for both travelers and freight transport. The future modernization will ensure an increase in the maximum speed of trains from 120 to 160 km/h on the route from Rzeszów to Przemyśl and Medyka, which will also shorten the travel time.
