Mo-Ajok and Bisschops sprint to Dutch 100m titles

Mo-Ajok clocked 9.91, beating Nsikak Ekpo (9.95) in the process. Taymir e Burnet took bronze (10.01). Mo-Ajok equaled Churandy Martina's 2012 Dutch record, but due to a strong tailwind, his time will not be recorded.
Elvis Afrifa, the 2024 champion, withdrew from the 100-meter final with a hamstring injury. Earlier in the day, he had clocked 9.97 in the semifinal.
In the women's race, Bisschops took the title in a time of 11.05, beating Nadine Visser (11.17) and Marije van Hunesteijn (11.33) in her wake. Bisschops set the second fastest time ever for the Dutch 100 meters. The record has been held by Dafne Schippers (10.81) since 2015.
Anouk Vetter won gold in the javelin throw with 55.96 meters.
Earlier in the day, Kellynsia Leerdam won the Dutch triple jump title. With a distance of 13.51 meters, she equaled Brenda Baar's 2011 Dutch record.
