Belgian cyclist Stuyven moves from Lidl-Trek to Soudal Quick-Step

The 33-year-old Belgian started his professional career in 2014 and cycled his entire career for the Trek team, successively Trek Factory Racing (2014 to 2015), Trek-Segafredo (2016 to 2022) and the last three seasons Lidl-Trek.
Stuyven achieved his biggest victory in 2021 with Milan-San Remo. A year earlier, he won the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. He also won the Tour of Germany (2019), Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne (2016), and a stage of the Vuelta a España (2015).
"I bring a lot of experience that can be used in the lead-outs for the sprint. In addition, Soudal Quick-Step is always present in the classics; those races are the team's DNA. That gives me confidence for next year. I think we'll be a good fit," Stuyven said in a press release.
