Private meeting at the Teatro Colón: Mauricio Macri and Marcos Galperin participated in the JP Morgan event.

In a private meeting at the Teatro Colón, JP Morgan brought together leading figures from the Argentine business and political world. Mauricio Macri and Marcos Galperin were among the guests. According to Noticias Argentinas, the event could herald a meeting between the bank and President Javier Milei.
The Teatro Colón hosted a private dinner organized by JP Morgan. Among those present were former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, both members of the bank's board of directors.
From the local level, Marcos Galperin, founder of Mercado Libre; Eduardo Elsztain, president of the IRSA group; and Marcelo Mindlin, head of Pampa Energía, participated. Also in attendance were Eduardo Escasany, of Grupo Galicia; Alejandro Bulgheroni, of Pan American Energy; and Federico Braun, owner of La Anónima.
Representing the national government were the Deputy Minister of Economy, José Luis Daza, and the Deputy Minister of the Central Bank, Vladimir Werning. Both joined at the last minute to share the evening with Wall Street leaders.
The JP Morgan meeting was part of the bank's annual activities in Buenos Aires. Sources close to the bank confirmed that a meeting between CEO Jamie Dimon, President Javier Milei, and Economy Minister Luis Caputo could take place this Friday.
During the event, Mauricio Macri spoke briefly to the press. "We hope for the best for the legislative elections," said the former president, who is promoting an alliance between the PRO (Progressive Party of Argentina) and La Libertad Avanza (La Libertad Avanza).
Dimon is considered one of the world's most influential bankers globally. His stature grew during the 2008 financial crisis, when he helped JP Morgan weather the collapse better than other international banks.
Under his leadership, the company expanded its technology operations, strengthened its global structure, and increased its profitability. Today, J.P. Morgan is one of the most powerful financial institutions on Wall Street.
Dimon began his career at American Express, moved on to Travelers Group and Citigroup, and in 2004 took over as head of Bank One. Following the merger with JP Morgan Chase that same year, he took over as head of the bank and has remained its CEO since 2005.
While Milei and her troupe are putting on a small show in Rosario, the CEO of JP Morgan (Jamie Dillom) has set up shop at the Teatro Colón. He's there with Tony Blair and Condolezza Rice, meeting with Macri, Elsztain, Galperín, Paolo Rocca, and others, discussing the occupation and dismantling of Argentina. pic.twitter.com/w4Y3DcmMzl
