The prizes will be awarded this Sunday: what awaits you at the 39th "Croisière Corse" regatta in La Seyne

For thirty-nine years, the Seynes nautical association of Mouissèques has given the start of the "Croisière Corse" regatta . A meeting open to Osiris-type sailboats, class C, habitable from 8 to 15 meters, on a coastal course, except for the crossing.
Details of the program with Gérard Vendel-Viest, president of Mouissèques and event manager: "This year, we only have a dozen participating boats from the surrounding clubs, Saint-Mandrier, Toulon, Marseille and La Seyne. After a prologue in Toulon harbor on Saturday, the boats and their crews are ready to set off on Sunday at 10 a.m."
The regatta is part of the Mediterranean competition, governed by the French Sailing Federation (FFV) . " It combines competition and cruising. It takes an average of twenty-four hours to sail between La Seyne and Corsica. We are expecting a crosswind that will strengthen downwind when we arrive in Calvi. On Wednesday, we will leave for Saint-Florent, and on Friday we will return to La Seyne, with a stop in Porquerolles, depending on the weather conditions at the time," he explains.
A ranking will judge the winners, based on a time/distance ratio, which will lead to an awards ceremony on Sunday, May 11 at 11 a.m., at the Bourse du Travail in La Seyne.
