RCT off to a good start in Montpellier (24-3 at half-time)

The opening minutes of the RCT's Top 14 campaign are full of promise. During this first half on Montpellier's pitch, Pierre Mignoni's men largely dominated the proceedings, scoring no fewer than three tries and a penalty from Marius Domon.
The tone was set by the man in form at the start of the season, Gaël Drean, who mystifies the local defense by scoring a very effective personal try.
It was then the former Hérault player Zack Mercer who doubled the lead after some excellent work from the Toulon pack.
Superior in the ruck zones, the Varois had total control of this match. They even scored their third try, scored by Marius Domon after a breakthrough through the middle by the Toulon center pair.
With a 21-point lead at halftime, RCT is in the best possible position. But watch out for Montpellier's comeback after the break...
