Football: Trélissacois succeed the three-time winner in Regional 1

Third victory in as many matches for TFC, who remain tied in Bressuire, before a Coupe de France interlude on the island of Oléron.
Trélissacois aren't doing as well as Bressuire, but they're keeping pace. The co-leaders, who have both faced three of the current bottom four in Group A in the first three rounds, are continuing their flawless run and have already put the third-placed team four points clear.
It wasn't all easy for TFC on Saturday, during their second trip of the season to Charente, after their 1-2 victory at Jarnac in the opening game. The first half was still largely dominated by Mohamed Akki's players, who pressed the opponent high up the pitch and created several chances, "without conceding anything," the Périgord coach assured. However, it took a penalty from Anthony Eustache to make it count.
Ten minutes to tenAnd while it was possible at the start of the second half, the 0-2 did not come, the post saving Angoumoisins on a header from Alioune Camara, while the local goalkeeper won two one-on-ones. The rest was more complicated for TFC, notably the ten minutes with ten men due to a white card for Mohamed Tariqui. But he held on to ensure the essential.
"We showed a lot of strength and determination," congratulated Mohamed Akki. "It's a successful first real test. I'm satisfied with the momentum we've established."
