Handball: Why won't the Bergerac Périgord purple handball team play its first match?

A new twist for the Bergerac players, who were forced not to play their first National 1 match of the season, against Mérignac, this Saturday.
It was in a press release sent this Saturday morning that the president of Bergerac Périgord pourpre handball, David Balsera, announced that his players (currently in National 1) would not play their first match of the season, against Mérignac. Why? Because of "the CNCG's decision not to validate four of our players under professional contract," the president explained in a press release.
A decision would impact the Bergerac squad. This is why the B2P requested the postponement of the match against the Girondines. Also in the press release, David Balsera explains that Mérignac accepted, thanking the club for its support, but not the COC Nationale, which "refused this postponement, citing a concern for sporting fairness." Since the B2P does not want to forfeit, a solution must now be found that allows the match to take place, once the CNCG's decision has been revised, that is, once the club has received the reasoned decision from the CNCG. "In accordance with the regulations, we reserve the right to appeal to the FFHB appeals panel," the press release states.
