Doubs: Department on orange alert, solidarity in place in Pontarlier

Since Monday midday, the mercury has been soaring, and the Doubs region has been placed on orange heatwave alert . A heatwave that could last until the middle of the week...or even longer. And to protect the most vulnerable, particularly the elderly, disabled, or isolated, the City of Pontarlier is reminding residents that a support system is in place. Residents can contact the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) to receive assistance from health and social services if needed.
