A charity race for digestive diseases organized in Parilly Park

A charity race to support research on digestive diseases will be held on November 16th at Parilly Park in Bron.
Running or walking to advance research on chronic inflammatory bowel diseases? That's what the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) are proposing on November 16th at Parilly Park.
Participants in the "Testathlon" will have the choice of covering 1 (children), 5, 7, 14 or 21 km by walking or running. A health and wellness village with yoga, nutrition and awareness workshops, as well as food trucks and children's games, will also be available.
The day's proceeds will be donated to DigestSciences, a research foundation focused on nutrition and digestive disorders. Registration is online, on the Testathlon website.
Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases are characterized by inflammation of the lining of a part of the digestive tract, due to a dysregulation of the intestinal immune system. These include Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, which affect 300,000 people in France.
