Agriculture: on social networks, field influencers are causing a sensation

In front of the camera , Goran Puig, 23, is a permaculture farmer. He cultivates his land without using fertilizers or pesticides, a sustainable agricultural model that he promotes on social networks. “It will be the role of today’s youth to push this agricultural model of benevolence and that is positive for the environment,” he explains. When his parents left him a piece of land, he dropped out of college and started making online videos with his best friend two years ago. At first, it allowed him to finance his installation, but success quickly overtook him.
Goran Puig's popularity attracts financial partners who provide him with all the material financed in his videos. But it is mainly the advertisements placed by advertisers in the videos that Hugo Mottin, Goran Puig's best friend, edits that finance them 100%. They release 15 videos per month and each earns a minimum wage, around 1,500 euros net. The remaining money finances the salary of an employee and the operating costs of the place.
