The Mendoza Quiniela draw takes place from Monday to Saturday, with several draws per day. There are five (5) draw formats:

• The Preview: 10:15 am
• First: 12 pm
• Morning: 3 pm
• Evening: 6 PM
• Nighttime: 9 PM

It is worth clarifying that each draw is carried out before a Notary Public, from the Draw Hall of the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos located on San Martín and Brasil streets, in the town of Godoy Cruz (Mendoza).

The Mendoza Quiniela lottery involves betting a certain amount of money on numbers of one, two, three, or up to four digits. The Mendoza Quiniela is a very popular game, a banked lottery. It consists of a daily draw of numbers, ranging from 0000 to 9999, held from Monday to Saturday. There are different draw times (morning, afternoon, and evening) depending on the time slot. Balloons are used to determine the thousands, hundreds, tens, and units digits of the number, and another balloon to determine its position. There are different types of bets (straight bets, etc.; accepting bets at different levels: one, two, three, four digits, as well as double bets), and the payouts vary according to the bettor's interest, with prizes of 7, 70, 500, or 3500 times the value of the bet.

Unlike other games, it does not have a progressive jackpot. The prize won is directly related to the number and position of the numbers bet. The prize scale is determined as follows:

• Four figures: you win 3500 times the amount bet.
• Three figures: you win 600 times the amount bet.
• Two figures: you win 70 times the amount bet.
• One figure: you win 7 times the amount bet.

The Quiniela game was implemented in 1972, and the Combined Lottery in 1985, the latter being the country's first pooled lottery game. Meanwhile, games from other provinces, such as Quini-6 and Tele-Kino, came into effect in 1991.
