Mendoza is under a yellow alert for storms and Zonda winds this Friday: which areas will be affected?

For this Friday, October 31, an unstable day with storms and Zonda winds is forecast in some areas of Mendoza , according to the Directorate of Climate Contingencies.

After a cool week, temperatures will rise again in the province this Friday. The forecast calls for a high of 30°C and a low of 12°C.

The provincial agency warns of moderate to severe storms towards the evening , in addition to Zonda winds in the pre-Andean areas and in the Malargüe department.

The alert for storms and Zonda winds remains in effect this Friday in Mendoza: which areas will be affected?

On the other hand, the National Meteorological Service issued a yellow alert for storms that will affect San Rafael, General Alvear, San Carlos, Tunuyán, Tupungato, La Paz, San Martín and Lavalle.

A Zonda wind warning was issued for Malargüe and the Uco Valley. Meanwhile, a yellow wind warning remains in effect for Greater Mendoza.

Saturday is expected to be cloudy and windy with a drop in temperature, as well as rain in the morning. The high will be 25°C and the low 12°C.

Sunday is expected to be a sunny day with rising temperatures. The high will reach 30°C and the low will be 14°C.
