A new América player claims that the benches are more comfortable in Europe than in Mexico.
Uncomfortable Tropics.- After being signed by Club América, Allan Saint-Maximin revealed that, in Europe, the benches are much more comfortable than in Mexico.
Maximin, who has played zero minutes in the Champions League, arrives from the competitive Arab league, which will allow him to tell many anecdotes about meeting Cristiano Ronaldo and asking for his shirt... even though he never gave it to him.

The Eagles' newest signing caused a stir at his presentation by confessing that what he liked least about our country was that the benches here "don't meet international comfort standards."
The striker, who in his later years in the Premier League and Saudi Arabia logged more minutes sitting than running, stated that he's not worried about adapting to Mexican football, "but he is worried about adapting to the furniture."
"In Europe, the benches have cup holders, heating, and they even bring you a cup of coffee. In Mexico, you sit down and everything starts to get numb," said the footballer, an expert on the reserve team.

He's a more spectacular than effective player, but even so, just two and a half years ago, for example, he was starting in a League Cup final at Wembley, and causing all the danger for Newcastle.

The statements have not gone down well with the Azulcrema fans, who saw the reinforcement as "what the team needed ," an opinion that has now changed after discovering how special he is when it comes to feeling.
América's management hasn't confirmed whether it will take action for his remarks or whether it will finally install reclining chairs for all the substitutes... so they'll leave eager to earn their pay.
