A guy paid double fare for his backpack and the other passengers gave him a hard time.

Special Transportation.- An individual paid double the fare so he could carry his backpack on a seat (and so no one would sit next to him), sparking a debate among other passengers about whether or not this was allowed.
The incident took place on a trolleybus line in Mexico City when the passenger in question bought two tickets , one for himself and one for his luggage, causing annoyance among other passengers.
“ At the Perisur trolleybus station in Mexico City, this person got on the bus and blocked the window seat, insisting on not giving it up, arguing that he had paid for both seats and that he had told the driver,” one person reported while recording the man with money to throw away.
Although the young man explained that he had paid double precisely to have a place to put his luggage, other users pointed out that it was public transportation, not private, emphasizing that he could have taken a taxi or an Uber if he didn't want to mingle with the rest of the world.
@honguitrix At the Perisur trolleybus station in Mexico City, this person boarded the bus and blocked the window seat, insisting on not giving it up, arguing that he had paid for "both seats" and that the driver had been told the bus was full. It was explained to him that it was a public transportation service, not a private transportation service. However, he ignored it, insisting that the regulations governing public transportation do not prohibit his actions, and therefore, it was permitted. Finally, a supervisor attended to the incident and asked the person in question to give permission for them to occupy the space where his backpack was. According to another user, this situation had already occurred with this person, who did not give up his seat. User, it is understood that sometimes we are tired and want to have a peaceful trip or we are simply in a bad mood, however, it is important to keep in mind that it is not fair to put our interests and comfort first in public spaces, because beyond violating your rights, you are violating those of other users and violating the safety of those who do not occupy a seat due to actions like these. Let us have humanism, empathy, humility and be aware of such circumstances. #cdmx #publictransport #integratedmobility ♬ original sound – Honguitrix ⚡️
And since the bus was full and there were people standing, some passengers forced him to give up his backpack to a young girl so she could sit down.
It's worth mentioning that the Mexico City Public Transportation and Urban Mobility Regulations do not contain a provision that prevents people from reserving a spot by paying double, which is possible in private transportation.
