6 deep-tech startups from Germany to watch – according to Earlybird VC

While the hype about chatbots , image generators and smart assistants continues, startups are working in the background to make the technological basis of the AI age possible in the first place.

They develop new models, data platforms, security solutions and developer stacks – in short, the infrastructure on which future applications can be built.

Laurin Class, an investor at Berlin-based VC Earlybird, also sees this shift toward "next-gen infrastructure." He works with startups that aren't just making small improvements, but are changing the rules of the market.

He told us which six deep-tech startups he is currently following that go far beyond classic generative AI use cases.
