Watch Canadians compete at the World Athletics Championships

The Nanaimo, B.C., native is the reigning Olympic champion and will look to follow the lead set by Canadian teammate Camryn Rogers, who won the women's version on Monday.
Katzberg topped the qualifying round with a toss of 81.85 metres — more than 3m better than the field.

But first, Edmonton's Marco Arop will begin his defence of his 800m world title when the opening-round heats get going at 6:35 a.m. ET.
Later, Gabriela DeBues-Stafford, of Toronto, will run the women's 1,500m final at 9:05 a.m. ET.
The fifth-place finisher at the 2021 Olympics qualified by placing fifth in her semifinal heat. Kenya's Faith Kipyegon will try for her third consecutive world title after winning her third Olympic gold last year in Paris.
The other finals taking place on Tuesday are the men's high jump (7:36 a.m. ET) and the men's 110m hurdles (9:20 a.m. ET).
