The Rehearsal Season 2 Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Come Out?

When we left Nathan Fielder at the end of The Rehearsal’s season 1 finale, the comedian felt lost in his own world. The HBO comedy’s original premise teased a series in which Fielder helped people rehearse pivotal conversations before they occurred in real life. Whether it was a public speech, an apology, or even a long-held secret that someone finally revealed to a close friend, Fielder was there to help.
Somehow, the second half of The Rehearsal morphed into a series all about Fielder. “I started to feel like I was solving a puzzle of my own design,” he said in the finale. So, it doesn’t surprise me that a season 2 renewal meant that Fielder would lose himself even more in that puzzle. In the initial teaser for the second season, Fielder seemingly hires a dozen or so actors to play himself in a multiverse of the same rehearsed conversation. I can't wait to watch the scene play out.
Somewhere along the way, Fielder is also set on fixing the airline industry. “I’ve been studying aviation disasters as a hobby, and I started to notice a disturbing pattern,” he says in the latest trailer below. Only Fielder knows where this plot heads next.
The Rehearsal airs on HBO at 10:30 p.m. ET, starting on Sunday, April 20. It’s a bit of an awkward time, sure, but it’s also a bit of an awkward show. The six-episode season will run every Sunday until the finale on May 20. Audiences can also stream the series on Max. Follow along below so you never miss an episode.
