Inez & Vinoodh Capture Angelina Kendall & Ella McCutcheon for the April 2025 Covers of Vogue Mexico & Vogue Latin America

As head of editorial content of Vogue Mexico (and Vogue Latin America), Karla Martínez de Salas often calls upon Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin to capture the magazine’s front covers. Last month, the duo were called upon to profile actress Rachel Zegler and captured models Amelia Gray and Christy Turlington for Mexican Vogue‘s front covers last year. Up next on the cover of Vogue Mexico and Vogue Latin America via the Dutch photographic duo’s lens are Angelina Kendall and Ella McCutcheon. The two models of the moment posed on location throughout Mexico City for the cover shoot, with Valentina Collado on styling duties (who selected looks from Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent Spring 2025 collection for the girls to showcase).

“Inez & Vinoodh don’t even bother nowadays to creating good work. These look like outtakes from America’s Next Top Model challenges. So cheap,” scolded jjjmmm.
“Horrible colors, light, pose, text, models, accessories, necklaces, makeup, hair, etc,” disapproved an unforgiving matheus_s.
RMDV described the outcome as “criminal”.
Also far from impressed was fenty. “Inez & Vinoodh need to go back to drawing inspiration from Guy Bourdin, This is abysmal,” they discredited.
“Terrible as usual but it’s not a surprise. Vogue Mexico is hopeless nowadays,” Xone critiqued.
