Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro Had a Sweet, Low-Key Broadway Date

New couple Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro didn’t make their Met Gala debut this year, but they have been going on Broadway dates during their New York City visit. After attending John Proctor Is the Villain earlier this month, Garfield and Barbaro went out again to the May 11 performance of Buena Vista Social Club. They posed backstage with the cast and matched in black ensembles. Camila Cabello was also there, making it a star-filled night for the performers:

Barbaro attended the Met Gala for the first time last week, posing in a Christian Dior dress on her own.

Garfield was waiting for her after the event ended though. Cosmopolitan posted footage of him greeting her once she got back to The Mark Hotel:
News of Garfield and Barbaro dating first came out in February. A source told People at the time, “They’ve been really low-key and have been spending time together quietly.”
Garfield has kept his love life almost completely private. In October, he told Esquire, “I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever.” He doesn’t have any social media accounts.
Barbaro has an Instagram account but keeps it focused on her professional activities. She shared behind-the-scene photos from her first Met Gala yesterday, writing, “bts from a week ago! staircases, iced coffees and corsets… truly takes a village (or staircase full) of people to pull these things off… and this isn’t even close to everyone who was involved…” She didn’t include any photos of Garfield, opting to keep their relationship off her grid for now.
