Crash claims life in Middlesex County closing roads northwest of London

A section of road northwest of London is closed Thursday morning as police investigate a fatal two-vehicle crash in Middlesex Centre.

Emergency crews have shut down Egremont Drive between Hedley Drive and Ilderton Road, Ontario Provincial Police said at 10:43 a.m. on social media. The exact time of the crash is not yet known.

One person involved has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said. Another has died as a result of the crash.
