All lanes closed on 401 westbound near Woodstock following crash

Drivers heading toward London on the 401 on Thursday were met with significant delays through Woodstock after a transport truck caught fire Thursday morning.

Detours were set up after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed the westbound lanes in Oxford Township, between Mill Street and Folden's Line.

Police said emergency crews were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. They reported no injuries.

While they said crews were working quickly to deal with the truck fire, they were not able to say when the highway would reopen.
