1 critically injured, 1 arrested after downtown London stabbing

London police have arrested a man after an overnight stabbing in the city's downtown core Sunday which left another man with serious injuries.
Police said they found a man with multiple stab wounds in the area of St. George Street and Mill Street just before Just before 1 a.m.
Bystanders gave the victim first aid before he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said, adding the victim remains in a critical condition as of midday Sunday.
Police said witnesses provided a description of the male suspect and officers were able to find him nearby. The 20-year-old was charged with one count of aggravated assault, police said.
The stabbing happened in a residential area, just a short walk away from a busy intersection of London's Richmond Row bar district.
