Unbelievable move from school principal! He made an autistic student fall down the stairs: An investigation has been launched

The incident occurred at Refik Pınar Middle School on November 5th. BUU, an eighth-grade student with autism and an inclusion program, fell down the stairs after being intervened by school principal BG. BUU was injured, and the incident was captured on the school's security camera.

BUU went home and explained the situation to her family, and was taken to the hospital. After their child's treatment, the family went to the gendarmerie with security camera footage and filed a complaint against the school principal, BG. The gendarmerie launched an investigation into the incident.

Suspended from duty

The Turgutlu District Governor's Office released a statement regarding the incident. The statement, which stated that an investigation had been launched the same day, said:

"An investigation was launched the same day into the physical intervention of a school principal against a student at a school in the Turgutlu district. Furthermore, as a preliminary administrative measure, the school principal was ordered to resign from his position. We respectfully submit this to the public."

"I CALLED THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, BUT HE DID NOT ANSWER"

BUU's mother, Derya Yavuz, described the events of the day. Yavuz said, "After my son went upstairs and opened the classroom door, Yunus, the math teacher, came out and told me some children weren't in the classroom. He told my son, 'Go call the kids downstairs.' As my son was going down the stairs, he encountered the principal. Without any conversation, the principal grabbed my son and threw him down the stairs. He didn't provide any first aid. My son's head got stuck in the railing. He hit everything on the stairs. My son came home like that. He was covered in dust. I asked him what happened and he explained what happened. I called the principal, but he didn't answer. Then I called the vice principal. He said he had no knowledge of what happened."

Explaining that they went to the gendarmerie and filed a complaint after recording the footage, Yavuz said, "We are psychologically devastated. My child does not want to go to school. I am filing a complaint."
