Tragic incident! The driver who had a heart attack crashed and died
A driver suffered a heart attack while riding his three-wheeled motorcycle on Avşa Island in Balıkesir 's Marmara district.
The accident occurred in the Martyrs' Hill area of the Deniz Neighborhood on Avşa Island. According to reports, 45-year-old Erkan Yüksekova suffered a heart condition while riding his tricycle with license plate 10 APU 268.
The motorcycle lost control and overturned. Yüksekova was seriously injured in the accident, while his wife, who was with him, was slightly injured.
Following the report, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Erkan Yüksekova, who received initial treatment at the Avşa Community Clinic, was transferred to Bandırma Training and Research Hospital with a life-threatening condition. Despite all efforts at the hospital, Yüksekova could not be saved and died. The Avşa Gendarmerie Station Command has launched an investigation into the accident.
