Smoke rising from apartment causes panic
The incident occurred in a site in the Süleymanlar Neighborhood. According to information received, apartment residents noticed heavy smoke coming from an apartment and reported the situation tothe 112 Emergency Call Center . Upon notification, Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality Fire Department teams and health teams were dispatched to the area.
Since the door of the house was locked, firefighters entered through the balcony door. Checks revealed that the fire started in the kitchen exhaust fan system.
The fire was extinguished in a short time with the timely intervention of the teams. It was learned that no one was home at the time of the incident and there was no loss of life or injury. Material damage occurred in the kitchen section of the apartment.
