Person shot in the middle of the street in Konya died 5 days later
The incident took place on Selimiye Street in Aziziye Neighborhood of the central Meram district at noon last Friday.
According to the information received, Mehmet Ak (40) was walking on the street talking on the phone and came across Hüseyin K., with whom he had a feud over a debt. Hüseyin K. started shooting at Mehmet Ak with the gun he had with him. Mehmet Ak was seriously injured after being hit by 5 bullets in various parts of his body. The suspect Hüseyin K. fled the scene and surrendered himself at the police station. Mehmet Ak, who was taken to Konya Numune Hospital and whose treatment has been ongoing for 5 days, could not be saved despite the interventions of the doctors and lost his life.
