FETÖ operation in 3 provinces, centered in Istanbul: 5 doctors detained

In an operation targeting the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) in three provinces, centered in Istanbul , five suspected doctors who attended the Medical Specialization Training Entrance Exam (TUS) camp in a dormitory belonging to the terrorist organization and were allegedly in contact with the so-called TUS imam were detained.
Within the scope of the investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against FETO, it was determined that five suspects who were active doctors participated in the TUS camp organized by the organization in a dormitory supported by the organization under the guise of "studying" and that they had contact with the so-called TUS imam.
In the investigation, where it was determined that the suspects had confessional statements about being members of FETO, that they had accounts at Bank Asya and that they were being searched consecutively as a secret communication method of the organization, detention warrants were issued for three doctors working in the public sector and two in the private sector.
Five suspects were detained in simultaneous operations carried out by security forces at six addresses in Istanbul, Konya and Mardin .
