World Championship: National Men's Volleyball Team advances to the last 16

The Turkish National Men's Volleyball Team defeated Canada 3-0 in the FIVB World Championship and advanced to the last 16 as group leaders.
The sets at the event in the Philippines were as follows:
- Türkiye-Canada: 25-21
- Türkiye-Canada: 25-16
- Türkiye-Canada: 27-25
The National Team's opponent will be the loser of the Poland-Netherlands match in Group B. That match will be played today at 1:00 PM.
The men's national team is participating in the World Men's Volleyball Championship for the fifth time, following 1956, 1966, 1998, and 2022. The national men's volleyball team's best finish in tournament history is 11th place in 2022.
In the group stage of the championship, teams compete in eight groups of four. The top two teams in each group advance to the last 16.
