Edirnespor Football Branch Manager Cesur Pakarda told reporters after the match that they took to the field today to ensure they could participate in next season's cup and avoid being fined.

Pakarda, noting that the club is going through a difficult period, said, " We had to go into this match like this because we had nine players. We don't have the chance to go toe-to-toe with our opponent, the Second League representative Somaspor. That's how we got through this period today."

Pakarda stated that they were unable to field the 20 players they had agreed on because the club's transfer window was closed.

Pakarda, stating that they are working to regroup the team, said, "If we had opened the transfer window and fielded a full squad, it would have been a very entertaining match. Unfortunately, we experienced the same situation today because we couldn't open the transfer window. We apologize to the fans who came to the match and left in the sixth minute."

Pakarda stated that they need a payment of approximately 3 million lira to open the transfer board and that they want to add transfers to the team with the support given and start the first week of the 3rd League with a full squad.
