Fenerbahçe Deputy Chairman Erol Bilecik resigned

Fenerbahçe Club Vice President Erol Bilecik announced his resignation from his board membership.
In a statement on his social media account, Bilecik said, "Due to recent smear campaigns targeting our club, including myself and my family, I announced to the public my decision at the extraordinary congress in September that I would not be a candidate for board membership. This decision was intended to focus on my responsibilities in line with Fenerbahçe's institutionalization and sustainable growth goals."
Unfortunately, I observe that the attacks directed at me continue to occupy our club's agenda during this period. I wholeheartedly believe that Fenerbahçe should focus solely on its goals of unity and success ahead of the new season.
Therefore, I respectfully inform the public that I have decided to resign from my position as a member of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club Board of Directors as of today."
Bilecik stated that during his previous years in office, he worked diligently to reduce the club's debt burden and rebuild its financial structure, establish transparency, oversight, and institutionalization in management policies, and to resolutely restore the club to a solid structure. He added:
"OUR CLUB'S FINANCIAL DEBT IS AT A SUSTAINABLE LEVEL"And today, I can say with great peace of mind that our club's financial debt burden has now reached a sustainable level. In the very near future, our President, Ali Koç, will give our community the good news of the day we will achieve financial independence. Rest assured, this is not just a financial success; it is a rebirth for our club. We would love for the efforts made for everyone to be crowned in every sense. But we know that some struggles wait for their time, while some services grow silently.
Bilecik concluded his statement by saying, "I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has trusted us, supported us, always shown their good will, and sincerely expressed their criticism. I seek the understanding of everyone whose hearts I have unknowingly or unintentionally hurt over the past seven years. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our President Ali Koç, with whom I am deeply honored to serve, as well as to all the members of the board of directors, our club employees, and the entire Fenerbahçe community."
