Anadolu Efes' new coach has been announced

Igor Kokoskov was appointed as the head coach of Anadolu Efes Basketball Team.
In a statement on the navy-white club's website, it was announced that a 3-year contract was signed with the 53-year-old Serbian coach, who has been an assistant coach at the Atlanta Hawks, one of the American Basketball League (NBA) teams, since 2023.

Igor Kokoskov, who has served as head coach for the Georgian, Slovenian and Serbian national teams and the NBA team Phoenix Suns, has also been on the technical staff of many NBA representatives since 2000.
Slovenia won the 2017 European Basketball Championship in Istanbul under the leadership of the 53-year-old head coach.
Igor Kokoskov will be on duty for the second time in Türkiye. Kokoskov took over as the head coach of Fenerbahçe Beko in the 2020-2021 season.
