Trump's 'TikTok' decision

US President Donald Trump has signed a new decision for the social media platform TikTok, which he had previously emphasized should be sold to a US investor.
Trump signed an executive order extending the ban on TikTok in the country for another 90 days.
The third deadline given during the Trump administration was set as September 17, 2025.
According to the news in Bloomberg, it was evaluated that the decision was aimed at gaining time for the platform to sell its assets in the US to domestic investors.
The previous agreement called for ByteDance to transfer TikTok’s US assets to the newly formed company, with US investors receiving 50% of the shares. Oracle was listed as the main investor. However, China opposes the deal because it considers TikTok’s algorithm to be a critical technology.
