The most pleasing feature of the iPhone 17 has been revealed

With Apple's new iPhone 17 series just hours away from launch, a significant leak about the devices has dominated tech news. According to information revealed in China's 3C certification database, the battery capacities of the iPhone 17 family have been revealed. Most strikingly, the eSIM models have higher battery capacities than the physical SIM versions.

HERE IS THE BATTERY CAPACITY

According to the leak, the iPhone 17 will have a battery capacity of 3692 mAh. The iPhone 17 Air, which stands out with its thin and lightweight design, comes with a 3036 mAh battery in the physical SIM version and a 3149 mAh battery in the eSIM-only version.

While the iPhone 17 Pro's battery is listed as 3988 mAh in the model with a physical SIM card and 4252 mAh in the model with eSIM, the capacity increases significantly in the top-of-the-range iPhone 17 Pro Max: the model with a SIM card slot has a 4823 mAh battery, and the model with eSIM has a 5088 mAh battery.

This is the first time this dam has been crossed.

If the leaks are accurate, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be the first iPhone to break the 5000mAh barrier. This capacity represents a roughly 8% increase over the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

While the iPhone 17 Air has the smallest battery capacity in the series, Apple is expected to stand out with its balance of slim design and long battery life.
