Roblox's Saudi Arabia and UAE decision! Disabled

According to Arab News, Roblox made a statement regarding its activities in Saudi Arabia upon its request.

In the statement, it was stated that the request of the Saudi Arabian General Commission for Audiovisual Media to suspend voice and text chats in the game was accepted, and that this move was taken to increase the safety of children and young users in the digital environment.

The statement also emphasized that the suspension of the chat feature will be temporary until more effective tools are developed, and that in this context, artificial intelligence technologies as well as Arabic-speaking expert moderators will be used.

Also suspended in the UAE

The UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority shared the joint statement made with Roblox from the social media account of the US-based company X.

In the post, it was stated that the chat feature was temporarily disabled and that existing security measures and parental controls were improved.
