Cemal Canpolat: I'm meeting with headquarters and Gürsel Tekin

While the tension that started after Gürsel Tekin was appointed as the CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman and accepted the position continues, a remarkable statement came from former CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Cemal Canpolat.

Speaking to Aytunç Erkin of Nefes, Canpolat said, "I'm trying to resolve this issue. I'm exchanging private messages with Mr. Özgür (Özel). I'm meeting with someone assigned by headquarters and Gürsel Tekin. I'm trying to resolve it amicably before Monday. Ultimately, it's the CHP organization that's facing off. The CHP shouldn't be divided and fragmented."
