War in Europe is no longer a remote possibility

While armies in Europe are preparing for a potential Russian attack, the likelihood of war has been reduced from a low risk to a low risk. EU countries have begun calling for war preparations one after another. Germany, for the first time in 35 years, issued a policy titled "Prepared for Crisis and Disasters," stating, "We are now the target," and issuing it to its citizens for the possibility of war, while Sweden declared the need to shift to war mode.
Meanwhile, while countries like France, Germany and Poland are equipping their armies against a possible war, compulsory military service is back on the agenda in Germany.

The latest statement came from France. Chief of the General Staff of France, Fabien Mandon, stated that Russia might be inclined to continue the war on the European continent, and that he had instructed the army to prepare for such a "shock" for three to four years.

Chief of General Staff Mandon, briefing the National Assembly on the instructions he has given since taking office in the Defense Committee, noted that Russia generally views Europe as a "weak" power, saying, "If our potential adversaries see that we are making an effort and are determined to defend ourselves, then they may give up. If they see that we are not ready to defend ourselves, I don't know what could stop them."

Germany, which has reduced the risk of war from a low risk, has called on its Federal Disaster and Emergency Management Agency to stockpile food and other essential supplies for ten days. Germany, for the first time in 35 years, has issued a policy titled "Prepared for Crisis and Disasters," stating, "We are now in the crosshairs," to urge its citizens to prepare for the possibility of war. Sweden, however, has declared the need to shift to war mode. Meanwhile, countries like France, Germany, and Poland are equipping their armies in response to a potential war, and compulsory military service is once again on the agenda in Germany.
SWEDEN: WE MUST SWITCH TO WAR MODEAnother European country, Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson, stated in a statement the other day that Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the West has turned the region into the front line of a hybrid war, saying, "We must switch to war mode to resolutely defend peace."
On the other hand, the tensions surrounding the second summit between Trump and Zelenskyy, which the world is watching closely, and Trump's stance are increasing Europe's concerns.
