Sancaktepe Mayor Yeğin: We will solve transportation problems with common sense.

Sancaktepe Mayor Alper Yeğin and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İETT) Passenger Services and Communications Department Head Alper Yılmaz met with neighborhood headmen (mukhtars) and school principals to discuss transportation issues in the district. Speaking on the matter, Sancaktepe Mayor Alper Yeğin said, “We will work in collaboration with all institutions, especially İETT, to make transportation within our country more comfortable and sustainable. We will solve transportation problems through shared wisdom.”

Yeğin stated that they work with an approach that prioritizes citizen satisfaction, saying, “We will work in cooperation with all institutions, especially İETT, to make transportation in our district more comfortable and sustainable.”

Alper Yılmaz, Head of the İETT Passenger Services and Communications Department, who attended the meeting, said, "As İETT, we are working to strengthen the transportation network in Sancaktepe, as we do throughout the city, and to ensure our citizens can make the most efficient use of public transportation. This collaboration with the municipality allows us to identify and resolve problems more quickly."
