Private jet seats are now shared

According to the Wall Street Journal, wealthy individuals and billionaires are now selling available seats to each other at bargain prices when traveling on specific routes in their private jets. An invite-only WhatsApp group has been created for this purpose. In this group, jet owners and passengers share seats on luxury routes like New York to Palm Beach or Aspen, California. Real estate investor Enrico Scarda, despite selling his own jet, still flies private jets using this WhatsApp group.
The group, which currently has 676 members, operates like a Craigslist for private jet travelers along the US East Coast. Seats between New York and Florida typically start at $2,000. While this price is roughly 10 times that of commercial flights, it's still in high demand. This allows jet owners to save on the $ 25,000-$30,000 travel expense of traveling alone.
