TOKİ delivered 3,731 houses to their rightful owners in 11 provinces.

According to information compiled by an AA correspondent, TOKİ continues to establish new living spaces for low- and middle-income citizens across Turkey with its social housing projects.
In this context, the construction of 3,731 houses in Çankırı, Çorum, Elazığ, Gümüşhane, İstanbul, Karaman, Kayseri, Nevşehir, Niğde, Tekirdağ and Van was completed and delivered to their rightful owners in June.
The project aimed to meet housing needs in both rural and urban areas. The buildings, planned to be no more than four or five stories high, were designed to maintain the neighborhood culture.
In these projects, implemented with a horizontal architectural approach, buildings were constructed on raft foundations using a tunnel formwork system, making them earthquake-resistant. This provides residents with a robust living space with structures that are both safe and durable.
The surroundings of the residential blocks have been enriched with social amenities. The projects include a school , mosque, community clinic, shopping center, recreational area, walking and cycling paths, outdoor sports fields, playgrounds , and extensive landscaping.
