New record in Central Bank reserves

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) reached an all-time high of $178 billion 357 million in the week of August 29, an increase of $2 billion 30 million compared to the previous week.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
Accordingly, as of August 29, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $59 million to $91.031 billion. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at $91.090 billion on August 22.
During this period, gold reserves increased by $2 billion 89 million, from $85 billion 237 million to $87 billion 326 million.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $2 billion 30 million compared to the previous week, reaching an all-time high from $176 billion 327 million to $178 billion 357 million in the week of August 29.
