Industrial production increased in parallel with exports in May

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat shared May's industrial production index data on his social media account. Bolat stated that Turkey, a great and powerful country centered on high-value-added, technology-intensive production, continues to develop by blending hard-earned labor with modern technology in the industrial sector. He added: "The industrial production index, a vital indicator for our country's development and increased global competitiveness, is gaining momentum in parallel with the strong rise in our exports. According to May data, the industrial production index, which serves as the driving force of our exports, increased by 4.9 percent annually and 3.1 percent monthly, once again demonstrating our nation's determination and diligence. Our country, which has enhanced the will to produce inherited from our ancestors by combining it with high technology, continues to add value to both its own people and the entire world with its vision of the Turkish Century, combining the power of productive hands, technology, and the spirit of enterprise with faith and determination."
