The eagerly awaited details of the "Housing of the Century Project," which is of great interest to millions of low-income citizens dreaming of homeownership , have been finalized. It was announced that applications will open on November 15th for the massive project of 500,000 homes across all 81 provinces of Turkey. In addition to conveniences such as a 10% down payment and a 20-year term, special quotas have been allocated for a wide range of groups, from retirees to young people, from people with disabilities to families with many children. The most striking innovation of the project is the 15,000 social housing units, which will be rented at half market price.

APPLICATIONS START ON NOVEMBER 15TH VIA E-GOVERNMENT

Dr. Nihat Şen, speaking live on A Haber, stated that applications for the project will open on November 15th and will be submitted through e-Government. One of the most important criteria for those wishing to participate in the project is that no individual living in the household holding a registered housing title deed is required. This requirement aims to prioritize the project's first-time home buyers.

Another important criterion for Istanbul is the household income limit. The total income of a household must not exceed 145,000 Turkish Lira. This criterion was established to ensure the project reaches the right target audience.

PAYMENT TERMS AND INSTALLMENTS

The project makes it easier for citizens to own a home, and the payment terms are also quite advantageous:

Down Payment: 10 percent

Maturity: 240 months (20 years)

Installments: You can own a home with installments starting from 6,750 TL in Anatolian cities and 7,300 TL in Istanbul.
