We must stop this genocide

The opening ceremony of the 18th Istanbul Biennial, titled "Three-Legged Cat," organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), took place yesterday. Speaking at the opening, biennial curator Christine Tohme highlighted the genocide in Palestine. Tohme stated that her work was a tribute to those who lost their lives, saying, "We cannot continue like this; we must stop the genocide taking place in Palestine. We cannot lie back in our comfortable chairs while knowing that innocent people are being massacred in some corner of the world simply for wanting to live, exist, and possess their own land."
